Hey there, I’m Rachel
I’m a wife and mother to two pretty great littles. I grew up in the PNW and moved to the mid west after I married my high school sweetheart. We came to Indiana for my husbands masters degree with the intent of only staying for two years. It’s been just over seven now. 🙂 We love how green it is here as it reminds us of home.
I have always been fascinated with the body and wanted to help others feel good about theirs. I found massage therapy and new it was the start of what I could be and do. I became a massage therapist in 2009. I love this type of work. I learn new things about the body every day. After years of working on clients I started to wonder if there was more to their aches and pains than only how they’re using their body each day. While movement or the lack of movement can cause tension and pain I began questioning what if it was the food we are putting in our bodies? Through my searching for answers I found health coaching. I became an Integrated Nutrition Health Coach in 2017. I was taught in over 100 different dietary theories but even more importantly on Primary and Secondary foods. How all of this can cause our bodies to be destructive or heal itself. Most importantly I learned how to change and create positive habits. For me that’s what health coaching is all about. The ability to take the knowledge we gain and apply it in a way that lasts.
WHAT DO I DO
I provide through one on one coaching and group coaching the tools necessary for you to create attainable goals and achieve them in a timely manner. Then, I will hold you accountable so you can achieve your health goals once and for all!

We will learn about nutrition for your specific goals, but also focus on foods that nourish the soul. These are called Primary Foods–personal relationships, career, spirituality, finances, and physical activity.

The key concept of bio-individualitytm is “one mans food is another mans poison”. We are all unique. While we may be made up of the same stuff, we have our own unique DNA. So doesn’t it make sense we would react differently to the food we eat, the environment we live in, and the type of exercise we do? This is why fad diets most often than not fail in the long haul. It is also why I am commited to helping you find what works for you and then hold you accountable to making the change.
